How many types of aloe vera ?

    Actually, if we speak of aloe vera plant species are numerous, there are more than 100 types are included in the Liliaceae tribe and many are the result of crossbreeding. The following are the types of Aloe vera:

1. Aloe vera barbadensis Miller, is a plant that has been known for thousands of years ago and used as a hair growth, wound healing, and for skin care.


Characteristics / traits aloe barbadensis Miller:
Trunk: No obvious
The shape of the leaves: Width at the bottom, with a convex upper midrib
Leaf width: 6-13 cm
Waxy coating on the leaves: Thickness
Duri: At the edge of the leaf
High interest (mm): 25-30 (60-100 cm tall flower stalk)
Flower color: Yellow

2. Aloe ferox Miller, is a species of arborescent aloe indigenous to southern Africa. It is one of several species of Aloe used to make-bitter aloes, a purgative medication, and Also yields a non-bitter gel that can be used in cosmetics.



Characteristics / traits of aloe ferox Miller
Trunk: Obviously (height of 3-5 m or more)
The shape of the leaves: Width at bottom
Leaf width: 10-15 cm
Waxy coating on the leaves: Thickness
Duri: At the edge and bottom of leaves
High interest (mm): 35-40
Flower color: Dark red to orange.

There are many more types of types of aloe vera that is in the world. but it's enough that I know of.
